EXHUMATION CARRIED OUT IN THE AREA OF ČAJNIČE
30.08.2013. 14:34On August 29, 2013 an exhumation was carried out at the location of Milijeno in Čajniče Municipality under the supervision of the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH. The remains of one person were unearthed at this location.
The recovered remains shall be transported to Goražde, and the identity of the victim shall be established following forensic processing and DNA analysis.
The exhumation process was coordinated by an investigator of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH and attended by representatives of the BiH Institute for Missing Persons, forensic pathologist as well as representatives of PS Čajniče and BPC MoI.
The Prosecutor's Office of BiH, along with other institutions involved in the process of tracing and identifying the missing, continues its activities on exhumations and in the process of tracing the remains of the war crime victims in all parts of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
