The central topic of discussion between the Chief Prosecutor Gordana Tadić and GIZ representatives related to the challenges facing the prosecution and law enforcement agencies in organized crime and serious crime investigations, joint investigation teams and international operations, as well as the future BiH agreement on cooperation with EUROJUST.

Given that the current project ends in March next year, the goal is to continue with a three-year project that would focus on the regional aspect of cooperation and capacity building for the beneficiary countries.

Chief Prosecutor Tadić expressed her gratitude for the significant cooperation and support provided within the project IPA-2017 -"Countering Serious Crime in the Western Balkans", which has strengthened the regional cooperation significantly. She has also expressed her support to the continuation of the project implemented throughout the years with success, which has provided concrete support in training, capacity building, as well as in cases which, due to their complexity, required significant funds.

The GIZ assessment team, which visited the Prosecutor’s Office of BiH, consisted of: Christopher Will, GIZ Project Manager; Mr. Mushfig Mammadov, GIZ legal adviser within the project; Mr. Hendrik Bursee, GIZ security expert, GIZ Office in Germany.
