SUSPECTS OF ORGANIZED CRIME AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING IN NARCOTIC DRUGS DEPRIVED OF LIBERTY IN ACTION CONDUCTED UPON ORDER OF BIH PROSECUTOR’S OFFICE
16.11.2018. 13:41In an action conducted by police officers of the State Investigation and Protection Agency (SIPA) pursuant to the Order issued by a Prosecutor from the Special Department for Organized Crime, Economic Crime and Corruption, two suspects have been deprived of liberty.
The action has been conducted in the areas of Gračanica and Tuzla, and the suspects are under investigation as they are suspected, as members of an organized criminal group, of smuggling larger quantities of narcotics, which were then sold on an illegal narcotics market in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this action, larger quantity of various narcotics has been seized, namely around twenty (20) kilograms of speed and marijuana narcotic drugs. During this operation, important international cooperation has been established with judicial institutions of the Republic of Croatia.
The SIPA police officers will bring the suspects before the Prosecutor in charge of the case today, who will question the suspects and subsequently make a decision regarding further activities in this case.
