On April 3, 2014 the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina presented the report "Combating Impunity for Conflict-related Sexual Violence in Bosnia and Herzegovina: Progress and Challenges" in the Judicial Complex of Bosnia and Herzegovina".

Deputy Head of the Special Department for War Crimes within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH - Prosecutor Gordana Tadić, attended the presentation and has informed the participants about the activities of the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in such cases.

The OSCE report analyzes the progress made and the obstacles that arise in the course of conducting the investigation, prosecution and trial before the BiH judicial institutions at the state level, in conflict-related sexual violence cases.  

Among those present at the event were Ambassador Fletcher M.Burton - Head of the OSCE Mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Meddzida Kreso - President of the Court of BiH.

This report is yet another form of support to the Prosecutor's Office of BiH in its efforts on establishing the rule of law and prosecuting war crimes cases including conflict-related sexual violence within such cases, as well as on other key elements of justice and reconciliation in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
