INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST TWO PERSONS FOR SMUGGLING OF PERSONS
04.11.2013. 15:28- N.F. (1983) and N.O. (1988) from the Republic of Italy, citizens of the Republic of Albania who are in custody as of October 28, 2013.
As alleged in the indictment, the accused are charged to have in the morning of October 25, 2013 taken over two Albanian nationals, who have entered the territory of BiH outside the actual border crossing of IBC Deleuša on the night of October 24// 25, 2013, at a motel in Bileća and to have, in accordance with the prior arrangement via SMS, transported them towards Goražde in the motor vehicle "Mercedes' with license plates of the Republic of Albania.
Consequently, the accused are charged with having accepted and transported, within the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina, persons who did not meet the requirements for legal stay in the territory of Bosnia and Herzegovina and having enabled them to stay in the country illegally, thereby committing the criminal offense of Smuggling of Persons under Article 189 Paragraph 2 of the CC BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
