INDICTMENT ISSUED AGAINST MILOŠ SAVIĆ (1946) FOR SMUGGLING OF GOODS
15.10.2012. 15:06Prosecutor of Department III within the Prosecutor's Office of BiH issued an indictment against Miloš SAVIĆ, born on August 24, 1946 in Srbac where he resides, a citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
According to the indictment, on January 31, 2012 the accused transported 77 mobile telephones with auxiliary equipment, that were hidden in his motor vehicle, across the state border between the Republic of Croatia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He crossed in the municipality of Brod in an unlawful manner by avoiding customs control while moving goods across the customs line.
The accused was detected and prevented in his actions by the authorized officials of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
In this manner the accused has evaded customs control while being engaged in moving goods of larger value across the customs line, the import of which requires special approval, thus committing the criminal offense of Smuggling of Goods under Article 214, Paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code of BiH.
The indictment was forwarded to the Court of BiH for confirmation.
